Does wage cost update as I build the roster, or only after I publish?

As you build it. Every shift you add updates wage cost against your target immediately, before anything goes live to staff.

Are penalty rates and award rules applied automatically?

Yes. Weekend and evening loadings, overtime and allowances are calculated automatically from live award rates as you roster, based on shift times.

How do staff see their roster once it is published?

Publishing sends a notification to every rostered staff member. They see their shifts in the CrosCheq app on their phone.

Does rostering connect to payroll?

Yes. Approved timesheets export straight to Xero, so hours worked flow through to payroll without re-keying.
