Recipe costing

Know a dish is losing money before it sells another hundred serves.

Cost every dish from live supplier prices. Set a target gross profit and see cost per serve, sell price and margin update the moment an ingredient price moves, with an alert when a recipe drops under target.

Includes a free 30-day trial.

How it works

Every supplier price rise shows up on the dish, automatically.

Margin, not just a menu price

No more finding out a dish is losing money after supplier prices crept up. Set a target gross profit per dish and CrosCheq tracks cost per serve against it, using the same supplier prices already flowing in from purchasing.

Prices move. Your menu should know.

Supplier prices creep up between orders, and a dish that was 70% GP in January can quietly slide under target by winter. CrosCheq costs every ingredient from the prices you are actually paying, so cost per serve and gross profit update the moment a supplier price changes, not just when someone remembers to redo the spreadsheet.

Rostering, purchasing, wage cost and the rest of the venue run in the same product. See everything CrosCheq does →

FAQ

Recipe costing, answered.

Where do the ingredient prices come from?

From the same supplier prices already flowing into CrosCheq through purchasing, so a recipe's cost reflects what you are actually paying, not a price entered once and forgotten.

What happens when a supplier price changes?

Cost per serve, sell price margin and gross profit recalculate automatically for every recipe using that ingredient.

Can I set a target margin and get warned when a dish drops under it?

Yes. Set a target gross profit per dish, and CrosCheq flags it the moment a recipe drops under target.

Does this replace my recipe cards?

No. It costs the recipes you already run, ingredients, quantities and yield per batch, so cost per serve stays accurate as prices move.
